SAMARINDA – As a tangible manifestation of the "Confidence & Accurate Services" philosophy, PT Zafina Analitika Inspektama (ZAI) successfully organized a technical training program for one of its strategic partners, PT Ancara Coal Terminal (ACT). The 2-day training, held on November 11-12, 2025, focused on the crucial theme of "Stockpile Management & Coal Quality-Quantity Control."
This program was specifically designed to equip the customer's operational team with a deep understanding of coal governance in stockpile areas, ensuring that commodity value remains optimally maintained from receipt through to the shipping stage.

PT ZAI believes that the surveyor's role is not merely to provide numerical reports, but also to serve as a discussion partner in safeguarding customer assets. In sessions led by Muhammad Syahrir, a specialist with over 14 years of industry experience, participants from PT Ancara Coal Terminal were invited to delve into field risk mitigation techniques.
"Stockpile management is the art of managing 'black treasure.' Small mistakes in handling can have a significant impact on quality and selling value," Syahrir stated during his presentation.

The training material covered comprehensive strategies directly applicable in the field, including:
Storage Optimization: Proper stacking techniques to prevent physical degradation and contamination.
Self-Combustion Risk Mitigation: Effective ways to monitor temperature and implement compaction systems to avoid spontaneous combustion in coal piles.
FIFO System (First In, First Out): Instilling discipline in stock management so that coal is not stored for too long, which can trigger a decrease in calories.
Critical Data Analysis: How to read quality parameters such as Ash Content and Gross Calorific Value (GCV) for rapid corrective action.
Building A Sustainable Future
Participant enthusiasm was evident in the interactive discussion sessions regarding coal blending handling and investigations into the causes of high ash content. Through this training, PT ZAI hopes that PT Ancara Coal Terminal can increase operational cost efficiency, minimize coal loss, and ultimately achieve maximum profitability through end-customer satisfaction.
